Greg Goessner is a professional dancer from southeastern Wisconsin. Greg began his training at Accent On Dance, and went on to train at MainStage Academy of Dance, Milwaukee Ballet, Gelsey Kirland Academy of Classical Ballet, Jacob’s Pillow School of Dance, The Rock School for Dance Education, and Cary Ballet Conservatory. Each experience provided him with new techniques that would help him form his approach to teaching.
His first professional contract was with the Dayton Ballet, where he performed works by Karen Russo Burke, Stephan Mills, Septime Weber, Ron Cunningham, and Jiří Kylián. After two seasons, he decided to move and dance with the Indianapolis Ballet where he danced works by George Balanchine, Victoria Lyras, Paul Vitali, Ramon Flowers, Scott Jovovich, and Joshua Burgasse.
Throughout his time at both companies, Greg was teaching/choreographing at local studios. He is currently teaching at Expressenz Dance Center, and for the past 5 years he has choreographed for their production of the Nutcracker as well as for their competitive team.
Greg is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He’s available to travel for performing and teaching engagements, throughout the United States and abroad.
